Rolf Olsen is CEO of Consularis SA and Executive Chairman of Leidar SA. He is Honorary General Consul for Norway and has been awarded “Knight 1st Class of The Royal Norwegian Order of Merit” for his consular work. He has extensive experience as a non-executive board member as well as from academic teaching of crisis management, advocacy and storytelling.
Rolf Olsen advises clients on strategy and narrative development; crisis management; and complex reputational issues on a global scale. Before setting up Leidar in 2010, he was CEO of Continental Europe and MENA at Weber Shandwick, the world’s largest PR agency. Previously he held board level executive positions at both European and global level for two American Fortune 50 companies.
Rolf lives in Switzerland for more than 35 years, having previously lived in both the UK and the US. He started his career in journalism and politics in Norway.
